Friends: Liv. Economic Development Council Exec Director John Ware and DS City Councilwoman Annie Fugler were recognized as special guests at the Liv. Bd. of Realtors Feb.meeting at Forrest Grove. |

The Mayor and three council members recently went to Washington to attend the Natl League of Cities, Congressional City Conf. While there, the DS Delegation met privately with Senators & Congressmen Bill Cassidy, David Vitter, Mary Landrieu, Charlie Melancon & Rodney Alexander in their Capitol offices to secure funding commitments for the Pete's Hwy. I-12 Interchange project. The DS delegates toured the Capitol and the Louisiana Delegation also attended dinner in the Capitol with their elected officials.
