My Commitment
Being a city council member is an honor; a position I respect. You deserve more from me than just council meeting attendance twice a month and fielding occasional constituent phone calls. You have chosen me to WORK for you - to represent you; be present and involved in the community; be your eyes, ears and voice inside city government and around the parish; and be pro-active in seeking and securing new business, not only for necessary revenue to run the city, but to bring into the city the type of businesses you want that provide convenience and improve your quality of life. I do that. I take my responsibility to you seriously and I work hard for you everyday. As a young retiree with a grown family, I have the time, energy, experience and wisdom to devote to this job. Public service has been my life’s work and I want to continue using my skills and vast experience to help our residents.

People in Denham Springs know what’s needed; we live with those needs everyday. When it comes to meeting those needs as your councilwoman, I have a unique combination of acquired skills and inside knowledge of how government works - tools that produce results.

Collaborative leadership with vision and direction is critical and I believe that residents currently have the benefit of a cohesive government - a mayor and council that work well together, each one bringing unique abilities to the table.
